About Lisa
My Story
I believe in taking responsibility for my own health and I am passionate about empowering others to do the same. It is every individual’s responsibility to look after their own body and mind where possible to enable them to have optimal health and wellbeing to live a healthy fulfilling life.
I have been supporting people holistically for many years and I was first introduced to Qigong whilst studying Shiatsu in 1998. It was part of my regular training.
I knew then this was something I wanted to explore further and to become an instructor. I saw the benefits and potential to improve health by noticing how calm, focused, and energised I felt after each practice. At this time however I had a young family and did not have the time to find and start a course.
When the lock down hit in 2020, I wanted to support my clients who I could not see physically, and the Shiatsu Society encouraged us practitioners to do so. I started a Self- Support Shiatsu class on zoom using various techniques including Qigong.
Researching and learning all I could to deliver my distant zoom class I found Marisa Cranfill on You Tube and instantly loved her style and decided to plunge in and start training with her Yoqi course. Marisa’s style brings Qigong into the present day makes it accessible to everyone. I feel lucky that I was able to complete my training with her on the beautiful Island of Ko Samui in 2022.
I now have two regular local classes and this year I hosted my first retreat. The retreat was amazing, and I am looking forward to many more.
My mission
At Qi Harmony Qigong, my mission is threefold: to Enlighten, Empower, and Elevate. I strive to Enlighten the community about the boundless potential of Qigong, shedding light on its ancient roots while demonstrating its relevance and vitality in the present day. I believe that through understanding the depth and breadth of Qigong, individuals can appreciate the transformative power it holds over our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
To Empower is to give individuals the tools, techniques, and knowledge to take control of their own well-being journey. I passionately believe that the art of Qigong isn’t just a practice—it’s a way of life. By making its teachings accessible, relatable, and adaptable to modern life, I empower my practitioners to integrate Qigong’s healing rhythms into their daily routines, helping them manifest a life of balance, energy, and harmony.
Lastly, I aim to Elevate. Beyond individual growth, our mission extends to elevating the collective consciousness of our community. Through group sessions, retreats, and wellness days, together we foster a sense of unity, mutual support, and connectedness. Helping us live in harmony with ourselves ,each other and the natural world around us.
